PSG Football Team Arrive in Doha Ahead of Messi-Ronaldo Matchup

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) team has landed in Qatar, as part of the club's traditional winter tour, ahead of the forthcoming, eagerly awaited friendly match between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

PSG will train in the Khalifa Stadium and take part in a series of activations organized with the club's partners present in Qatar.

The team will later travel to Riyadh as the match will be held at King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh on Thursday, January 19th.

Saudi top clubs Al Hilal and Al-Nassr will field players against the French champions. Recent Al-Nassr signing Ronaldo will face off against his long-time rival, Messi.

In the highly-anticipated match, Ronaldo will lead the team made up of players from Saudi sides against Messi's PSG.

This matchup will be the latest chapter of the celebrated global soccer rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi.

Ronaldo and Messi have not clashed since December 2020 when Juventus beat Barcelona 3-0. Ronaldo was playing for Juventus, while Messi was playing for Barcelona back then.

The friendly match will be broadcast on PSG TV, PSG social media, and beIN Sports network.
