Take Part in These Events in Qatar This Month

Anything in between, including music and art! There is something for everyone on Qatar Tourism's schedule of events for the month of August.

Don't let the heat keep you from taking part in the numerous events that are being offered if you are spending the summer in Qatar and did not have the opportunity to travel.

Three months out from the start of the World Cup, Qatar is already promoting itself as a hub for entertainment as it gets ready for the big event.

Do you want to enjoy FIFA 22?

Game enthusiasts come first on the list.

The FIFA 22 eSports tournament on AAMeghessib's Back-2-Back, a PlayStation 5 exclusive in Qatar, began last week and will run until August 26. Ahmed is the name of the thing.

Why is being in nature healthy for you?

A two-player team must be created, compete to qualify for the national final, and then enter the competition. The competitive aspect is that teams must score two goals in a row to win in the 11v11 Kick-Off Mode.

In Doha Festival City, where people will be in attendance, the championship tournament will be taking place. The prizes are as follows: QAR 45,000 for first place, QAR 30,000 for second, and QAR 15,000 for third.

Get Your Horses

Have you ever considered learning how to ride a horse? Well, this is your big opportunity. The Summer Equestrian Program at Al Shaqab is still running through August 11 and is open to all people.

Given the importance of horsemanship in Qatari culture and heritage, the program was started in an endeavor to turn Al Shaqab into the top equine center of excellence for teaching and promoting horsemanship as a part of Qatar's equestrian legacy.

The Children Summer Pony Ride for children aged three to seven, Al Shaqab's 2022 Adult Summer Activity for adults aged six and older, Adult Private Summer Activity, and Summer Academic Riders Camp are just a few of the possibilities available this month.

For those who prefer a little more privacy, the organization also offers private adult sessions and Summer Ladies Classes for women aged 14 and above. There is also a summer program for kids with autism that is open to children aged three to twelve.

For your little children

This month, QT is providing a ton of activities for kids.

KidZania Doha is providing a summer camp for children aged 1 to 14 with activities that combine inspiration, fun, and learning through realistic role-play. The camp is for children interested in exploring their potential future careers.

For all the young children who are interested in technology, Web Design is also providing a Creative Space Summer Camp. Robotics, programming, web design, and other computational thinking topics will be the camp's main emphasis.

For those who enjoy sports, the PSG Academy Summer Programme is available until August 18, and the Evolutions Sports Qatar Summer Camp is available until August 11.

A child mental health summer camp is being held by the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) through August 14.
