HMC to Deploy 1,100 Medical Professionals During the AFC Asian Cup

The Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will deploy 1,100 medical professionals to medical services for fans during the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.

These medical professionals will be deployed in the following roles:

• Doctors and Nurses
• Operations Officers
• Field Supervisors

• Ambulance Communications Officers
• Critical Care Paramedics
• Paramedics

These professionals will be deployed to all nine stadiums where the AFC Asian Cup matches will be held. 

There will be 50 clinics distributed throughout the stadiums. 

Each stadium will have a dedicated paramedic team in the stands and the concourse areas.

There will also be golf carts available to transfer patients to clinics in case of emergencies. 

Medical trucks will also be available during each match in case of major accidents.

The exciting football tournament AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 will run from Jan. 12 to Feb. 10.

Twenty-four national teams will participate in the tournament to win the AFC Asian Cup.
