Discover Al Maha Island

In Qatar, the Investment Holding Group unveiled plans for its newest entertainment and leisure destination. Al Maha Island, near the Place Vendome mall in Lusail and connected to the mainland by a causeway, is estimated to attract more than 1.5 million tourists every year.

The project is being driven by Elegancia and IMG, an IHG company, in partnership with Qatar Tourism Authority.

Winter Wonderland in Doha

Doha Winter Wonderland, a 93,000-square-meter theme park open from November to March each year, is Al Maha's main attraction. This is expected to be completed before the start of the World Cup.

The park will feature 50 rides, including 10 thrill attractions, including a 395-foot roller coaster, 25 family rides, including a large 150-foot Ferris Wheel, and 15 children's rides.

The Space Gun, the Drop n' Twist Tower, and the Vertical Swing will take thrill-seekers to new heights. Bumper Cars, Mini Disco, and The Galleon will provide an adrenaline boost for families.

Pony Adventure, Air Balloon, and Circus Swing will be among the rides available for small children. There will also be carnival activities, an ice rink, and booths providing a variety of food and beverage options at the park.

Beach Club Nammos

Nammos, one of the world's most exclusive beach clubs and restaurants with tempting dishes and an electrifying ambiance, will be located on Al Maha Island. The magnificent Mediterranean event will be set on Al Maha's private beach and will feature luxurious modern décor inspired by the Greek party island. Nammos will be the new go-to spot for upscale beach dining once it opens.

High-end district

Another attraction for travelers to Al Maha Island is its high-end neighborhood, which features six of the world's top restaurants.

With its internationally acclaimed style of Japanese cuisine, London's award-winning ZUMA brings the flavors of the Far East to Qatar. ZUMA, the brainchild of German chef Rainer Becker, offers a refined food philosophy influenced by Izakaya, or informal Japanese dining.

Becker opened the first ZUMA restaurant in Knightsbridge, London, in 2002, and the restaurant's popularity led to the opening of ZUMA in some of the world's most beautiful locations, including Ibiza, Phuket, Mykonos, Maldives, and Madrid.

LPM restaurant, a famous French restaurant with Mediterranean influences, is launching on Al Maha and will take its diners on a culinary voyage to the south of France and the Mediterranean Sea's coastlines.

Em Sherif is a luxury Levant restaurant that is intended to look like an Oriental mansion and serves fine dining Lebanese food. The Lebanese-awarded restaurant has locations in Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and London.

Billionaire is a well-known lounge that combines luxury dining with nightlife, including a special show with amazing entertainment that flawlessly blends extraordinary performances, exceptional food, and service. Billionaire is also a popular vacation spot for many celebrities and superstars.

Dokya is a Turkish tavern that serves a wide range of Turkish cuisine and mezze. The restaurant is particularly notable for its premium décor, which merges traditional oriental and contemporary western elements.

Finally, there's Jwala, which promises a delectable journey through Indian flavors.

Festival International de Musique

The concert facility, a 7,000-seat performance space on Al Maha Island, will hold the Global Music Festival, 34 live events annually, and is expected to attract huge names such as nationally and internationally superstars, world-renowned DJs, singers, and comedians. The musical festival's schedule will be released in August 2022.
