Lina Al Aali's 'Sword of Wishes' Mural Unveiled at Katara

Artist Lina Al Aali's mural 'Sword of Wishes' was unveiled in Building 15 in Katara's cultural district.

The mural depicts two girls and the older girl is holding onto a string that is attached to a kite that is shaped like a boat.

The mural was unveiled during a ceremony at the Cultural District in Katara. 

During the Ceremony, Al Aali explained how her mural represents heritage, identity, innocence of childhood, and the power of dreams. 

Al Aali thanked the general management of Katara for their support and their initiative to advance the art movement in Qatar. 

Katara's Cultural Village features many murals like the Maha Mural, the Challenge mural, and the Friends of Qatar-Cuba mural.
