Two Women Among Four People Arrested for Drug Peddling in Qatar

The General Directorate of Drug Enforcement at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) arrested four people, including two women and two men, for trafficking and using narcotic substances. 

Prosecution officials searched the residence of these four individuals after receiving authorization. The officials found large amounts of drugs hidden in rolls and wrappers at the residence. 

According to the directorate, 13 kilograms of hashish and 350 grams of Shabu (methamphetamine) were found at the culprits' residence.

Other than the drugs, large sums of Qatari and foreign currencies were also found in the possession of these culprits, which are believed to be profits gained from drug dealings. 

The four culprits have been referred to Public Prosecution for the necessary legal procedures. 

The MoI recently arrested two individuals of Asian nationality for dealing with various illegal substances.
