Qatar Thwarts an Attempt to Smuggle 120kg of Hashish Into the Country

The General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security in Qatar has foiled a plan to smuggle 120 kilograms of hashish into the country.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that this huge quantity of narcotics was attempted to pass through Qatari territorial waters.

The MoI added that the three individuals who were involved in the crime got arrested.

The accused are from an Asian country, the ministry said without revealing their nationality.

The suspects were referred to the General Department for Drug Control to take the necessary measures against them and refer them to the concerned authorities.
