Three Individuals Arrested for Stealing Private Property in Qatar

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced on September 2, 2023, that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had arrested three individuals on September 1, 2023, for their involvement in theft crimes in the Umm Salal and Al Kheesa areas.

The MOI said that the arrests were made following reports circulating on social media platforms about thefts of private properties in these areas. The CID conducted an investigation and was able to identify the suspects. The suspects were arrested and are currently in police custody.

The announcement also said that the suspects admitted to committing multiple thefts and were transferred, along with the seized items, to the relevant prosecution authorities to continue with the necessary legal procedures.

The MOI urged the public to report any suspicious activity to the authorities. They also reminded the public to take precautions to protect their property from theft.
