Qatar World Cup 2022 Matches to be Displayed in Education City

Qatar Foundation's Education City is hosting free, family-friendly screenings of the tournament's games, and football enthusiasts from Qatar and around the world are invited to catch the action there.

Education City, which is home to one of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM stadiums, will be open to the public for a variety of events and activities during the four-week sporting display. Its popular green space Oxygen Park will also have a big screen showing 22 live games, beginning with four matches on November 25 and continuing through the semi-finals and final the following month.

There will be activities for families to enjoy in addition to the football, as well as food and beverage outlets, in Education City during Qatar's group games against Senegal (on November 25) and the Netherlands (on November 29). There is no necessity for Hayya cards among attendees of the screenings.

Beginning on November 25, matches will be shown at Oxygen Park on all matchdays of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, with the exception of those when games are played at the Education City Stadium. The complete schedule and instructions on how to get to Education City to attend the match screenings can be found here. Visitors are encouraged to take public transportation.

Through its campaign It's Only Football if it's For All, Qatar Foundation (QF) will provide a variety of festivals, activations, and entertainment for the local, regional, and international community at Education City during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM. All of these events have been created with accessibility in mind. Among these is the second QF  D’reesha Performing Arts Festival, which will present the diversity and vitality of Arab culture to the world from December 11–17 at Oxygen Park and has as its theme Travel and Adventure. On QF's website, you may get more information about the schedule of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM events at Education City.

The Education City fan experience, which will feature performances including singing, dancing, and freestyle football with artists with disabilities among the performers, will be another way that QF will give an inclusive and accessible welcome to every supporter attending games at the Education City Stadium over the upcoming weeks.

With a variety of sensory activations, rest benches with wheelchair access, and assistance for audiences with limited mobility, the fan experience reflects QF's dedication to accessibility. A group of QF-trained accessibility volunteers who are part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM volunteering force will also be on hand to assist. You can visit their website for further details.
