The Qatar Meteorology Department has announced that Qatar is expected to experience rainfall from Thursday until the beginning of next week, according to a tweet issued on May 16.

The weather forecast indicates an increase in cloud cover starting on May 18, leading to partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with chances of rain of varying intensity.

According to the Qatar Meteorology Department, certain areas may experience thunderstorms followed by sudden strong winds. The wind direction will mainly be from the southeast to northeast, ranging from light to moderate speeds, with the potential to become strong during thundery rain.
