Discover Qatar Hosts the Season's First Whales Sharks Viewing

Discover Qatar hosted the season's first 'Whales Sharks of Qatar' tour with 37 wildlife enthusiasts to view the magnificent creatures.

The tour included a half-day excursion from the northeastern coast of Qatar on a high-speed catamaran. 

The visitors enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and a lecture from a whale expert before viewing the beautiful whale sharks. 

The number of whale sharks in Qatar's waters is expected to increase to 300 during the upcoming weeks.

Discover Qatar hosts these tours daily from Sunday to Thursday for eight hours oer day. 

The tour costs $249 per person and a 50 percent discount is applicable for children under 12 years old. 

The tour also includes a breakfast and lunch as well as a one-night stay at the Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort.

The whale sharks tour is conducted on a luxury catamaran that has a capacity for 40 guests.
