FIFA Opens Door for Reselling FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Tickets

FIFA has announced that fans who have purchased tickets online in accordance with the Terms of Sale of Online Tickets to the Public, can display their tickets for resale on the official FIFA Resale Platform.

According to the FIFA website, the window for resale tickets for the Qatar World Cup has been opened until August 16, 2022, at 11:00 CEST / 12:00 (midday) Doha time.

"FIFA Ticketing" Foundation will provide another window for ticket resales, as the tournament draws near, during a period to be announced in due course on the FIFA website.

FIFA explained - on its website - that the process of reselling Qatar World Cup tickets is done by logging into their ticket account, clicking on the links available below, and selecting “Resell tickets” in the side menu.

According to FIFA, the official ticket resale platform gives original ticket buyers (including buyers of tickets offered in the ticket resale platform), who have respected the terms of online ticket sales to the public in the purchase process, the opportunity to recover part of the price of tickets that they no longer want to be used for themselves or their guests, provided that FIFA Ticketing is able to sell those tickets displayed on the Ticket Resale Platform.

Requirements:

• The original ticket purchaser can offer any number of his guest tickets for sale on the ticket resale platform while keeping the tickets for his personal use.

• If the original ticket purchaser wants to offer his tickets on the resale platform, he must offer for resale all tickets purchased for the same match, and guests may not attend any match without the original purchaser of tickets.

• FIFA Ticketing sets the prices of all tickets available on the resale platform, which may be lower or higher than the prices of tickets purchased by the original purchaser of tickets.

• The tickets offered on the resale platform do not contain information about the original purchaser of the ticket or the price paid by the original purchaser of the ticket to purchase it.

• As long as the ticket is offered on the ticket resale platform, neither the original purchaser of the ticket nor his guest will be able to use it.

• The tickets included in the Team Ticket series and Four Stadium Ticket series can only be offered for resale on the Resale Platform by FIFA Ticketing after FIFA Ticketing has officially delivered those tickets to the original ticket purchaser (that is after the match has been selected and added to the tickets).

• Conditional tickets for resale are not allowed to be offered on the resale platform as long as the relevant team has not been nominated for the specified stage of the tournament and FIFA Ticketing has not delivered tickets for the match to the original ticket purchaser.

It's worth noting that the Refunds If the ticket is successfully resold in the ticket resale platform in accordance with the general ticket resale policy, FIFA Ticketing Foundation will proceed to refund the price of the tickets to the original purchaser of tickets for the amount specified minus the resale fee within (30) business days after closing Resale window.
