Qatar Rail to Launch a 365-Day Metro Pass

Qatar Rail has announced the introduction of a groundbreaking 365-Day MetroPass, offering commuters unlimited travel across the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks at a price of QR 990. This annual pass promises unmatched convenience and value for frequent riders.

The unveiling took place alongside the second edition of Qatar Rail’s “Back to School” event, hosted at the Sport City Station on the Metro’s Gold Line from August 19 to September 2, 2025. The event features school-supply promotions, creative activities for families, and exciting engagement opportunities. 

Commuters attending the event can take advantage of an exclusive Early Bird offer: pre-book the MetroPass at a 20 % discount. Early-Bird vouchers are available for collection at the event until August 31, and can then be redeemed between September 1 and 30, at any Doha Metro Gold Club office or Lusail Tram ticketing office, with the original voucher required at the time of purchase. 

Meanwhile, attendees and their families can enjoy a range of free, fun-filled activities from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.

These include interactive gaming zones, painting and coloring sessions, art workshops, and various competitions offering prizes, making the event both practical and family-friendly.
