Qatar Waives All Traffic Fines Issued on June 23, 2025

Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has announced that all traffic violations recorded on Monday, June 23, 2025, will be waived. The move comes in response to what the ministry described as "unforeseen circumstances" that affected the country on that day.

A Gesture of Support for Citizens and Residents

In a statement released on June 26, the ministry said the decision was made to appreciate the public’s swift response during the unexpected situation. Many residents were reportedly trying to reach work and essential service centers promptly, despite the challenges.

Authorities emphasized that this was a one-time waiver and applies strictly to traffic offenses committed on June 23 only.

Traffic Rules Still Apply

While the waiver is a relief for many drivers, the ministry reminded the public that traffic laws remain in full effect. Residents and citizens are encouraged to continue following road safety regulations at all times.
