Qatar to Provide Free Metro Access for Fans Attending the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2025

FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 organisers have announced that all fans holding match tickets will receive free access to the Doha Metro on match days, a move designed to simplify travel and enhance the fan experience during the tournament.

The benefit will especially apply throughout the competition, including the final on 17 December 2025, when spectators attending the decisive showdown between Paris Saint‑Germain and the winner of the FIFA Challenger Cup Qatar 2025 can ride the metro free of charge.

Officials from Qatar Rail have confirmed that the Metro—and the linked Lusail Tram network—are fully prepared to accommodate the expected surge in passenger numbers during the tournament period. To ensure smooth operations, extended service hours, additional trains, and Park-and-Ride options at key stations will be available.

By leveraging Qatar’s compact geography and modern rail infrastructure, this initiative also makes it easier for fans to reach all six host venues without the hassle of traffic or parking. For many, the free metro access will be a welcome convenience — and for organisers, a way to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable transport for thousands of visitors.
