Jordan Beats Iraq 3-2 to Reach Asian Cup Quarter-Finals

In a dramatic turn of events, Jordan secured a spot in the Asian Cup quarter-finals with a 3-2 victory over Iraq, marked by two stoppage-time goals.

Aymen Hussein, Iraq's top scorer, was red-carded late for exuberant goal celebrations. Despite Iraq appearing set for the quarter-finals as the clock hit 90 minutes, Jordan's Yazan Al-Arab leveled the score in the 95th minute.

In a stunning turn, Nizar Al-Rashdan netted a remarkable long-range goal two minutes later, sealing Jordan's comeback.

Expressing confidence, Jordan's coach Hussein Ammouta attributed the turnaround to their belief and strong mentality. He highlighted their ability to exploit Iraq's numerical disadvantage after the red card.
