Motaz Azaiza Meets Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Doha

Famous Palestinian digital journalist Motaz Azaiza met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Doha, Qatar on Monday, Feb. 12.

Azaiza shared a video of the meeting on his Instagram and X accounts.

The Palestinian President appreciated Azaiza's efforts in highlighting the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza. 

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas encouraged Azaiza to continue his work and be the Palestinians' voice. 

The Palestinian President was on a visit to Qatar during which he met the country's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss the latest developments in the ongoing war in Gaza and the efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza. 

He also met other Qatar officials including the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humanitarian Funds of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani.

The two discussed humanitarian efforts for the Palestinians in Gaza. 

The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Doha on Feb. 11 for discussions about a ceasefire in Gaza and departed from Qatar on Feb. 12.
