In a historic achievement, Jordan's national football team secured a remarkable 2-0 victory over South Korea in the Asian Cup semi-final in Qatar, earning their first-ever spot in the final.

Against the odds at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in al-Rayyan, Jordan triumphed over the favored South Korean team, ranked 64 places above them in the world at 3rd in Asia.

The pivotal moment occurred in the 53rd minute when striker Yazan al-Naimat scored the opening goal, defying expectations. Winger Musa al-Tamari added to the jubilation with a goal from outside the box in the 66th minute, solidifying Jordan's lead and securing the historic win.

Ranked 87th globally, Jordan is the only team in the competition never to have won the Asian Cup. They now await the winner between Iran and hosts Qatar for the showdown on Saturday.

This victory marks a significant milestone in Jordan's football history, showcasing their resilience and prowess on the international stage against a formidable opponent.
