What's Happening at AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 Opening Ceremony?

The opening ceremony of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 is starting on Jan. 12 at 5:00 p.m. (Doha time) and here is what we know is happening at the opening ceremony.

AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony will include a musical extravaganza titled 'The Lost Chapter of Kelileh & Demneh', which is a recreation of the epic Asian fable 'Kelileh & Demneh' produced by some prominent artists from Qatar and the Middle East. 

AFC Asian Cup released a teaser about the opening ceremony on Dec. 27, 2023.

The fan zone will open at 2:00 p.m., while the opening match of the tournament will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Fans are advised to use the metro to get to the Lusail Stadium, which is the quickest way possible to reach the venue without missing the fan zone, the opening ceremony, and the final match.
