How to Change From Family Residency to Work Residency in Qatar?

The new "Request to Join the Labour Market (Change from Family Residency to Work Residency)" fully digital service has been announced by the Ministry of Labour (MoL).

With this service, hiring locals can be made easier, saving time and money compared to hiring foreign workers. It is designed specifically to assist private businesses in Qatar.

By giving locals access to employment options, the program gives them the power to actively participate in and contribute to the local labor market. About twenty-five entirely digital services for entrepreneurs were added by MoL. 

The Ministry of Labour (MoL) and the Qatar Development Bank (QDB) together organized an introduction seminar titled "Services of the Ministry of Labour for Entrepreneurs" to introduce the new service. 
 

The Work Permit Department highlighted two e-services: "Request to Amend Occupations on Work-Permits" and "Attestation of Work Contracts inside the State of Qatar." Additionally, a general overview of the previously launched services was provided.
