AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 Stadiums to be Smoking Free

The Local Organising Committee of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 has partnered with the Ministry of Public Health to integrate prevention measures regarding smoking and tobacco at the stadiums hosting the matches for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.

The prevention measures prohibit smoking inside all the stadiums, which will allow football fans to enjoy a healthy, smoking-free environment. 

Smokers will be able to smoke in designated smoking areas, which are located outside of the stadium. 

Inspectors from the health ministry will be present at the stadiums during the matches to ensure that fans at the stadium maintain a smoking-free environment. 

There will also be informative signs at the stadiums to raise awareness amongst fans about the dangers of smoking.
