Thundery Rain Is Expected in Qatar on March 19th

Qatar's Department of Meteorology warned of expected thundery rain at times inshore on Sunday, March 19th, associated with strong wind and high sea.

It said that the weather until 6 pm is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of scattered rain. 

The department also announced the beginning of observing rain in southern parts of the country and offshore.

Wind inshore will be southwesterly to northwesterly 5 to 16 KT, shifting afternoon to southeasterly, gusting to 25 KT at times.

Meanwhile, wind offshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly, then shifts later to southeasterly 06 to 16 KT, gusting to 24 KT during thundery rain.
