19th Edition of Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition Kicks Off

The 19th edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) kicked off on Monday, February 20th, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).

The highly anticipated exhibition will run until Saturday, February 25th.

The event, organized by Qatar Tourism and Qatar Business Events Corporation, brings together over 500 leading brands from all around the world and is expected to attract over 30,000 visitors.

It is held under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani.

"We're pleased to bring together local talents, international designers, exhibitors, respected global brands and jewellery aficionados who'll have the chance to meet again under one roof to nurture creativity, network, discover and grow," Qatar Tourism (QT) said in a statement.

A highlight of this year's edition will be Noor Ali Hussain Alfardan's Noudar, a collection featuring exquisite pieces inspired by the history of natural pearls in Qatar.

The event was attended by singing sensation Nancy Ajram as a special guest, as well as Russian model Irina Shayk and other celebrities.
