Qatar Extends Hayya Card Validity Until Jan 2024

Qatar's Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced the extension of the validity of the Hayya Card -- which made it easier for football fans to enter the country -- by almost a year, until January 24, 2024. 

The validity extension is free of charge.  

The initial validity of the Hayya Card ended on January 23, 2023. 

However, travelers should have proof of a confirmed hotel reservation or accommodation with family or friends approved via the Hayya electronic platform to be able to enter Qatar. 

The travelers' passports also must be valid for no less than three months upon arrival in the country. 

They should have the necessary health insurance for the duration of their stay in Qatar, as well as a confirmed return air ticket. 

The Hayya Card holders will have access to the 'Hayya with Me' feature which allows them to invite up to three family members or friends, a multiple-entry permit to Qatar, as well as access to use the E-Gate facility for entry.
