As part of the countdown to the World Cup Qatar 2022, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy launched the "Hayya Card" platform, which represents the exclusive entry gate to attend the World Cup matches, in conjunction with the accommodation reservation portal platform during the event from November 21 to December 18, 2022.

The "Hayya Card", which is considered a permit to enter the State of Qatar, contains many advantages that made a big difference to the Hayya card compared to previous sports events, the most important of which is entering the eight stadiums of the World Cup and providing free use of public transportation including buses, metro and tram, as well as advantages that will be added in the future and will be announced at a time.

As for fans coming from neighboring countries who wish to attend and return on the same day, they will have the option of staying for one day, and this option will be available through the platform, in addition to buying tickets to obtain a Hayya card.

As for the fans inside Qatar, they will be owning their personal cards, and they will only be required to purchase a ticket and then apply for a Hayya card, and after approval, the digital copy is downloaded through the smart application and the Hayya application.

And the launch of the “Hayya Card” platform by the State of Qatar, in conjunction with the accommodation portal platform during the World Cup, is the real start to open horizons for fans from all over the world to come to Qatar and watch an exceptional version of the most prominent football event.

At the press conference to launch the "Hayya Card" and the accommodation booking portal during the World Cup, the Executive Director of the "Hayya" platform at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Saeed Al-Kuwari, explained that the platform is part of Qatar's efforts to improve the experience of the fans welcomed in the World Cup that is being held for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab world.

The Hayya card will include multiple features that will allow fans to visit tourist places, use transportation and enter stadiums, as well as many other benefits that will be announced earlier upon completion.

The approval of obtaining a Hayya card will be linked to the first reservation by fans of accommodation in Qatar during the World Cup through a special reservation portal, according to Al-Kuawri.

The mechanism for applying for a card is very easy, but it will differ from one category to another, as the fans coming from outside Qatar with international documents will be required to purchase tickets first, then book the accommodation, and then apply for the card.
