Samsung's digital wallet, according to the Korean company, is characterized by elevating the level of user convenience and has worked closely with its trusted partners and developers to enrich the wallet experience.

“We are focused on bringing the platform to as many markets as possible, and as quickly as possible, with the aim of enabling more Samsung Galaxy users to reap the benefits of a digital wallet,” said Jenny Han, Head of the Mobile Experience Business Team at Samsung Electronics.

Samsung describes its digital wallet as an easy, fast and secure way for users who want to organize and access important documents and identification cards, including bank cards, digital keys, passports, driver's licenses, and student identification cards, with just one swipe.

The Samsung Digital Wallet is protected by the Samsung Knox security platform, which protects important user data with biometric authentication, such as a fingerprint.

The company said that the Samsung Digital Wallet stores sensitive documents in an isolated environment that provides an additional layer of protection against physical and digital hacking attempts.

It is noteworthy that Samsung announced last June that the electronic payment service “Samsung Pay”, and “Samsung Pass” service would be merged into one service, the Samsung Digital Wallet.
