Working Hours for Institutions in Qatar During Eid Al Fitr

Certain institutions in Qatar have set specific working hours and days off during Eid Al Fitr.

On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr holidays in 2024, it has been decided that the working hours for the security-related departments of the Ministry of Interior will be around the clock, as well as the traffic investigation departments. The Ministry of Interior announced that service-oriented departments will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

These services include passports, traffic, nationality and travel documents, and criminal evidence and information. 

Security and traffic departments will operate around the clock.

Public Prosecution

The Public Prosecution has also announced the working hours for its offices during the Eid holidays.

The prosecution's main building at Al Dafna will be open for public services from the first day of Eid Al Fitr until Apr. 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Residence Affairs Prosecution will operate on the same dates from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Judgment Enforcement Office – Airport (Prosecution of Judgment Execution and Cheques) at Hamad International Airport will provide 24-hour service during the Eid holidays. 

Electronic services of the Public Prosecution will be accessible during Eid Al Fitr.

FAHES at Al Mazrouh and Mesaimeer will be closed on the first day of Eid Al Fitr. After that, Al Mazrouh station will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closing prior to 4:30 p.m. for Eid Al Fitr. 

The Mesaimeer station will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the doors to the venue will close at 12:300 p.m.

Qatar National Library will be closed for the first two days of Eid Al Fitr and reopen on Eid's third day. 

If you want to visit these venues during the Eid holidays, do so during their Eid Al Fitr working hours.
