Qatar’s Ministry of Labor has announced that private sector employees will enjoy a three-day paid holiday for Eid Al Adha 2026, in line with the Labor Law. The holiday begins on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, and concludes on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
The Ministry emphasized that any work performed during this period must comply with overtime compensation and allowances as outlined in Article (74) of the Labor Law, ensuring fair treatment for employees who may be required to work.
Financial Institutions Holiday Schedule
In a separate announcement, the Qatar Central Bank confirmed that all financial institutions in Qatar will observe the Eid Al Adha holiday, with operations resuming on Sunday, 31 May 2026.
