Ramadan is a much anticipated time of celebration through many activities and events across Qatar, but as Ramadan 2023 falls in the spring, this means that any typical outdoor activities will be quite difficult with the high temperatures in the Gulf country and fasting if you're a Muslim. However, this shouldn't hinder you from doing any activities as you you can simply either save them for the evening when the sun is down or go for indoor activities.

Shop at Ramadan Shopping Fair - DECC

Ramadan Shopping Fair, running from March 25th to April 14th, is an international trade fair at Doha Exhibition & Convention Cente (DECC) with numerous vendors selling household goods, and Ramadan special items. 
Timings: Saturday to Thursday: 11 am to 3 pm | 8 pm to 1 am
Friday: 8 pm to 2 am

Compete at Ramadan Sports Festival 

Aspire Zone Foundation is holding the Ramadan Sports Festival from Tuesday, March 28th, until Saturday, April 8th. The 12 days festival features eight activities that range from sports competitions to physical challenges. All competitions will be held from 9:30 pm until midnight.

Register at Katara International Ramadan Chess Tournament

The Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, is presenting the tournament that will kick off on the first day of Ramadan at Hall 15, from 9 pm to 11 pm. It is organized in cooperation with Qatar Chess Federation.

Visit 900 Park

900 Park is a dedicated entertainment district in Doha with an immersive dining and leisure experience. It will be open for the entire month of Ramadan from 7 pm to 2 am for Ramadan vibes with food outlets, live entertainment through oud players, tanoura dancers, and a children's entertainment zone. Ticket prices: QR 25 - Adults | Free entry for children under the age of 12.

Attend Ramadan Watercolour Workshop 

Located at the arts and crafts store, Cass Art Qatar, in Doha, a four-session workshop will take place every Saturday where you can reflect and paint on the beauty of the holy month. The sessions, hosted by professional artist and master surrealist Gilbert Semillano, will take place on March 25th, April 1st, 8th and 15th. Price: QR 750 - Adults,
