'Tadamon' Sustainability Initiative Launched at Expo 2023 Doha

Al Rayyan Municipality collaborated with various administrative bodies to launch the food sustainability initiative 'Tadamon' at Expo 2023 Doha. 

The initiative was launched at the International Zone of Expo 2023.

'Tadamon' includes efforts to reduce food waste by ensuring the implementation of sustainable practices in the food supply, agriculture, environment and the health sector.

Tadamon will also work towards enhancing the recycling process of all organic, solid, and plastic wastes, which will help with preserving the environment. 

The initiative will help achieve food security in Qatar by advancing sustainable practices within the community. 

Qatar's National Food Strategy

Qatar is already preparing to launch the new version of the National Food Security Strategy 2024-2030.

The strategy will extend to seven years and will coincide with the Qatar National Vision 2023. 

Other Events at Expo 2023 Doha

The expo is also hosting the Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate Festival, which will run until Dec. 2.
