Dadu Gardens, designed under the theme "Garden's Adventures," emerges as a dynamic educational space. The aim is to offer diverse activities and programs fostering children's development through play and interaction with nature.

Empowering the Community

As the first publicly funded initiative of its kind in Qatar, Dadu, the Children's Museum, seeks to empower the local community by contributing to cultural, environmental, and social ecosystems. Spanning an impressive 14,500 sqm, Dadu Gardens serves as an open-air gallery and a living classroom.

Expressing delight, Essa Al Mannai, Director of Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar, shared the joy of reopening Dadu Gardens at Al Bidda Park. The Gardens align with Expo 2023 Doha's values, emphasizing sustainability, the green economy, healthy habits, and the environment. The public is encouraged to explore the diverse programs promoting hands-on experiences for children.

Facilitated by Qatar Museums, the construction of Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar, exemplifies unprecedented collaboration between Qatar’s public and private sectors.

Founding Family and Generous Donors

Donors contributing QR3.65m or more become members of the Dadu Founding Family. The esteemed roster includes Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Baladna, ConocoPhillips, and others. The generous support extends to practical donations, such as two six-seater golf carts donated by Rumailah Group.

Distinct Facilities

Dadu Gardens boasts nine distinct facilities, including Edible Garden, Garden Atelier, Community Garden, Permaculture Showcase, Kashta, Events Plateau, The Promise Plaza, and Al Marj, each catering to various engaging activities.

Expo 2023 Doha Activities

During Expo 2023 Doha, Dadu Gardens' Adventures will feature activities like art creation with natural materials, exploration of the edible garden, learning about the world of worms, gardening programs, and insights into recycling. The Gardens aim to provide a holistic educational experience for children, emphasizing practical learning and environmental awareness.
