Expo 2023 Doha’s Volunteer Registration to Open in Less Than Two Weeks

Volunteer registration will start in less than two weeks, for the massive six-month-long Expo 2023 Doha event, with a goal of enlisting between 3,000 and 4,000 volunteers, Expo 2023 Doha’s Secretary General Mohammed Ali Al Khouri said.

“The registration process will commence in less than two weeks and it’ll be followed by careful screening of applications. An official announcement regarding the application procedure will soon be made through our event’s official website and different social media channels,” Ali Al Khouri said.

Expo 2023 Doha, which will begin in Al Bidda Park on October 2nd, will be the second-largest event ever held in the country.

The massive horticultural exhibition will hold its first desert-climate event in Doha in 2023.

It is anticipated that it will promote novel horticultural strategies with an emphasis on soil, water, and climate sustainability.

There will be three sections within the vast 1,700,000-square-meter show in Al Bidda Park where volunteers will be assigned.

The family area, which has a prominent position in the park's center, will serve as a location for family-friendly events and outdoor activities. It will occupy a space of 500,000 square meters.

The cultural area in the southern zone will host cultural and traditional activities and exhibitions. It will be spread over 500,000 square meters area.
