The Traffic department has initiated legal proceedings against a driver who gained attention for a viral video showing them engaging in drifting and reckless driving on public roads in the Rawdat Al Hamama area. This action was announced by the General Directorate of Traffic via a tweet on May 9, 2023.

After the video went viral and circulated on social media, the Traffic department became aware of its existence. Consequently, legal measures are being taken against the driver involved, and their vehicle has been seized.

The General Directorate of Traffic emphasized the importance of abiding by traffic regulations and urged the public to comply with them.
