Ooredoo Doha Marathon Gains Gold Status, To Be Held in February 2024

Ooredoo, a leading telecommunications company in Qatar, has announced that registration is now open for the 2024 Ooredoo Doha Marathon. The marathon is open to runners of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.

The Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2024 will be held on February 16, 2024, and it is expected to attract over 15,000 participants. The marathon will offer four distances: a full marathon (42.2 kilometers), a half marathon (21.1 kilometers), a 10 kilometer race, and a 5 kilometer race. All four distances are open to adult participants.

The Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2024 will offer a variety of distances for runners of all ages, including a mini marathon for juniors aged 13-17 (5 kilometers) and a 1-kilometer race for children under the age of 13.

To ensure that the marathon meets stringent international standards, Ooredoo has partnered with UK-based sports agency GW Active. This year, the Ooredoo Doha Marathon holds Gold status on the international marathon schedule, meaning runners can qualify for international marathon events such as the Boston Marathon.
