Morocco Becomes Qatar's 2024 Years of Culture Partner

Morocco was named Qatar's 2024 Years of Culture partner and this partnership will include various cultural exchange programmes in both countries.

More than 80 events will be organized in Qatar and Morocco for this cultural exchange programme, which will not only feature the cultural heritage of both countries, but also the countries' creative industries, social developments, and innovations. 

The 2024 Years of Culture partnership is the first time that Qatar will celebrate one-on-one with a North African country. 

The Years of Culture programme will help people from both countries to learn about each other, which will help them develop new connections. 

The Years of Culture programmes usually include art exhibitions, cultural festivals, educational partnerships, and various other exchanges, therefore the 2024 edition is expected to include similar programmes. 

The Doha Design Biennial, which will run from Feb. 24 to Feb. 28, will also feature Moroccan designers as part of the Qatar-Morcco 2024 Years of Culture partnership.
