The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a weather alert, forecasting dusty conditions across the country on Tuesday and Wednesday, 23–24 September 2025.

According to the latest update, northwesterly winds ranging from fresh to strong are expected to sweep through the nation, potentially causing blowing dust and reducing horizontal visibility in several areas.

Marine warnings will also remain in effect during this period due to the rough sea conditions triggered by the strong winds. Authorities have advised residents and seafarers to exercise caution.

Dust storms are not unusual during this time of year, with northwesterly shamal winds often affecting daily activities and travel. The Qatar Meteorology Department continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as needed.
