The Promotional Tour of The World Cup’s Original Version Continues

The promotional tour of the original version of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has continued, as part of the promotional plans that precede the establishment of the first World Cup in the Arab region and the Middle East.

The cup tour kicked off Thursday, May 5, at the Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care "Ihsan", then moved to the Shafallah Center, before visiting the Aspire Park, and then landing at the Mohammed bin Jassim House in the Msheireb.

On Friday, May 6, the 22nd edition of the World Cup landed at the cricket stadium in the Industrial Area, which witnessed a large crowd of fans, as everyone raced to take memorial photos with the cup made of pure 18-karat gold, weighing 5 kilograms and 14.4 inches high. To remain a lasting memory of this unique experience, before returning to the house of Mohammed bin Jassim in the Msheireb Downtown, in order for the masses to be able to see it.

Some events accompanying the promotional tour were held at the cricket stadium in the Industrial Area by allocating a special section for children to take pictures with the flags of the qualifying countries for the World Cup, as well as practicing football skills: the shooting challenge and the robot goalkeeper challenge, in addition to many diverse artistic and musical performances.

On Saturday 7 May, the cup journey took off to the Qatar Olympic Museum, then to Lusail Marina, and then landed at Hamad bin Jassim's home in Msheireb.

While the cup continued its promotional tour on its fourth day, Sunday, May 8, in the mall (Doha Festival City), then it was in the mall (Plus Vendome), then it moved to Souq Waqif, and returned again to the house of Mohammed bin Jassim in the Msheireb area.

On the fifth day, the World Cup will move to the Student Center at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, then to Qatar University, and from there to Msheireb in the heart of Doha and return again to the house of Mohammed bin Jassim in Msheireb, before the curtain falls on the promotional tour on the sixth and final day on Tuesday. The promotional tour of the World Cup is an opportunity for fans and families to see the replica of the World Cup, which 32 teams are competing against in order to win it at the end of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at Lusail Stadium on December 18.
