Qatar's Nasser Al Attiyah Wins Rally Saudi Arabia

Qatar’s rally king is back on top — and he's not slowing down anytime soon. Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah just clinched the Rally Saudi Arabia 2025 title, wrapping up Round 3 of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) with an impressive performance that solidifies his GOAT status in the regional motorsport scene.

Teamed up with Spanish co-driver Candido Carrera, Al Attiyah piloted their Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 to victory with a total time of 1 hour, 34 minutes, and 5.5 seconds — outpacing Finnish contender Juho Hanninen, who landed second place at 1:35:42.9. Saudi Arabia's Rakan Al Rashed took third, finishing at 1:39:08.9.

But this win isn't just another trophy on the shelf. It marks Al Attiyah’s 89th career rally win, extending the legacy he began building in 2003 and further cementing his reign as a 19-time FIA Middle East Rally Champion.

The Qatari presence was strong across the board: Abdulaziz Al Kuwari secured 4th place, while Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah, Rashed Al Muhannadi, and Mohammed Al Marri rounded out the top 15.

Al Attiyah's consistency and dominance in MERC make him not just a national icon, but a regional motorsport phenomenon. The road to the 2025 championship title just got a lot more exciting — and Qatar’s star driver is still in the fast lane.
