Qatari singer and composer Dana Al Meer has secured an impressive third-place finish at the Intervision 2025 Song Contest, held in Russia.
Her performance of “Huwa Dha Anta” (“It Is Exactly You”) resonated deeply with the audience and judges alike, bringing her a total of 369 points.
Dana Al Meer is no stranger to high-profile performances — she has previously performed at the opening ceremonies of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. Her Intervision act, themed around self-discovery and identity, showcased both vocal strength and emotional sensitivity.
Intervision 2025 brought together artists from more than 20 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, Kenya, and South Africa.
The competition’s gold medal went to Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc, while the second place was claimed by Kyrgyz ensemble NOMAD. Organisers have also announced that Saudi Arabia will host the next edition of Intervision in 2026.
