Dr. Yousef Al-Maslamani, Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital at Hamad Medical Corporation, said about the conditions for exemption from quarantine for those coming to the State of Qatar, "Children under 12 years of age coming from travel will be subject to the same rules as parents regarding examinations and quarantine"

Al-Maslamani added: A person in Qatar is considered immune if less than 12 months have passed since recovering from a corona infection, and he is considered immune if less than 9 months have passed after the second dose or if he took the third dose if he is immune, he doesn't need to be quarantined, and if he is not immunized according to this definition, he will need to be quarantined, and in both cases, the necessary examinations will be carried out.

This came in the wake of the Ministry of Public Health’s announcement that citizens and residents of the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the European Union, and the United Kingdom can use the applications they use related to the Covid-19 epidemic so that they are excluded from electronic pre-registration when traveling to the State of Qatar.

In a statement to Qatar TV, Dr. Al-Maslamani confirmed that local applications related to the Corona pandemic will be accepted in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to enter Qatar, adding that all sea, air, and land ports will accept these applications for entry.

In the same context, the Ministry of Public Health published, through its official account on Twitter, a reminder of the policy of travel and return to the State of Qatar

While in its reminder to citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the European Union and the United Kingdom, the ministry clarified that they can use one of the applications listed below to exclude them from electronic pre-registration when traveling to the State of Qatar.
