Qatar Airways Ranks Third on Bounce's 2023 Airline Index

Qatar's national carrier Qatar Airways has been ranked third on US-based luggage storage startup Bounce's 2023 Airline Index, while Japan Airlines ranked first.

The airline index was created by comparing on-time arrivals, in-flight entertainment, cancellation rates, the calibre of in-flight meals, and various other aspects of 60 airlines. 

Qatar Airways scored 7.50 and came in third place on the index because it received a four out of five for its onboard cuisine, entertainment, seat comfortability, and customer service.

The airline also has a cancellation rate of 0.33% and the rate for on-time arrivals is 77.51%.

Singapore Airlines ranked second with a score of 7.63, while Japan Airlines scored 8.28, which makes it the best international airline for 2023. 

The flag carrier of the UAE Emirates ranked 10 with a score of 5.16, alongside Vietnam Airlines, which also received the same score.

Qatar Airways' score makes it the third-best airline in the world to fly in!
