KSA Offers New Educational Visas Serving Students from 160 Countries

The Saudi Council of Ministers issued a decision in its session last Tuesday, to introduce a long- and short-term educational visa, targeting male and female students, researchers, and academics for university studies with the aim of attracting distinguished talents, raising the quality of the educational process and research and innovation outputs, raising the level of classification and efficiency of Saudi educational institutions globally, and increasing the Kingdom’s contribution in spreading the values ​​of moderation and teaching the Arabic language.

According to the Ministry of Education, this visa is divided into a short-term visa for educational programs of up to a year and a long-term visa for long educational programs of more than a year.

The Ministry indicated that the advantages of the visa are represented in serving students from 160 countries, recording data in 9 languages, linking applications with the relevant authorities, in addition to facilitating the procedures for joining studies in the Kingdom, in addition to that it does not require a sponsor.
