Israel’s Netanyahu Apologises to Qatar After Deadly Doha Strike

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a rare apology to Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani after Israel’s strike hit Doha, killing Qatari citizen Badr Al Dosari.

The apology came during a three-way call at the White House with U.S. President Donald Trump in the mix. Sources say a Qatari team was also present during the talks.

What Went Down in Doha

The strike targeted a residential neighborhood that reportedly housed Hamas negotiators. Qatar slammed the attack as a “flagrant violation” of its sovereignty and made it clear that such actions won’t be tolerated again.

Qatar’s Stand

Sheikh Mohammed told Netanyahu that protecting Qatar’s citizens is non-negotiable. He welcomed U.S. assurances that similar attacks won’t happen again and highlighted Qatar’s ongoing push for peace efforts in the region.
