These Two Lanes to be Temporarily Closed on Al Jamiaa Street
Lane closures on Al Jamiaa Street: Ashghal advises motorists ahead of scheduled maintenance from 13-18 September.

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that two left lanes on Al Jamiaa Street will be temporarily closed to traffic from Markhiyah Intersection toward Television Intersection starting at 11:00 PM on Saturday, 13 September, until 5:00 AM on Thursday, 18 September.
This measure is being taken to facilitate essential road maintenance. By restricting the two left-hand lanes during those hours, Ashghal aims to carry out the work safely and efficiently while minimizing risk to both workers and road users.
Drivers traveling on Al Jamiaa Street during this period are urged to use the available right lanes at intersections and consider alternative routes to avoid congestion. Detailed signage and traffic guidance are expected to be in place to assist commuters navigating the area.
Ashghal’s notice underscores that the lane closures will only affect the specified time window overnight, reducing the impact on daytime traffic flow. Motorists are reminded to take extra caution, allow for additional travel time, and follow any temporary route adjustments.
