The British Embassy in Doha has dismissed rumours that a Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft spotted over the city was linked to Israel’s recent strikes in Qatar.
Routine Training, Not Military Action
Officials explained that the RAF Voyager seen on September 9 was only part of a scheduled joint training with the Qatari Emiri Air Force. The exercise focused on air-to-air refuelling — a standard part of the defence partnership between the two countries.

UK Strongly Condemns Strikes
The embassy stressed that linking the flight to the attacks was “baseless and false.” It also made clear that the UK had no role in the strikes, which it condemned as a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty.
