Qatar Reopens Airspace After Attack on US Base

  • Publish date: since 8 hours

Qatar has reopened its airspace after temporarily closing it because Iran attacked the Al Udeid Air Base in the country on Monday evening.

Iran's attack included the launch of 19 missiles towards the air base, which were all intercepted except for one. Nonetheless, no casualties were reported

The attack was in retaliation for the US attack on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend.

In addition to Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait also closed their airspace. After some hours, Kuwait reopened its airspace, and Qatar followed suit.

Various Arab nations condemned Iran's attack and expressed their solidarity with Qatar.
