Iranian Jets Shot Down Over Qatari Airspace

Dr. Majed said the Iranian jets were heading toward Doha and entered Qatari airspace despite warnings. Qatar is still searching for their crews.

He emphasized: “Qatar has proven that it cannot be threatened. We remain fully prepared. Such attacks will not go unanswered.”

Mossad Claims Denied

Responding to reports by U.S. broadcaster Tucker Carlson, Dr. Majed said there is no information on Mossad cells operating in Qatar.

No Communication with Iran, Missile Stockpile Ready

Qatar is currently not in communication with Iran, he said, adding that the country’s stockpile of interceptor missiles remains sufficient to handle ongoing threats. He also dismissed claims that pressure on Gulf nations would force a return to negotiations.

Stranded Travelers and Airport Threats

Around 8,000 people are stranded in transit as Qatar’s airspace remains closed. There were also attempted attacks on Hamad International Airport, which failed, officials confirmed.

Whole Country Targeted

Dr. Majed highlighted that Iranian attacks are not limited to military sites — all of Qatar’s territory is considered a target.
