The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the circulating video of the home invasion did not happen in Qatar.

The ministry released an official advisory addressing a video circulating on social media showing a group of people breaking into a home and holding the homeowner captive while they steal from the residence.

The ministry conducted the necessary investigations and found out that the incident did not happen in Qatar and no criminal report was registered regarding this incident.
The advisory warned people in Qatar to be more cautious of the information they circulate, especially when the origin of the information is not verified.
