The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced the official application schedule for the educational voucher programme for students with disabilities, outlining key deadlines for both the current 2025–2026 and the upcoming 2026–2027 academic years.

The move aims to ensure that eligible students can access critical educational support in a timely and structured manner.

The announcement comes from the Ministry’s Department of Special Education and Inclusive Education, coordinated with the Department of Private School Licensing, reinforcing Qatar’s continued commitment to inclusive education and support for students with special needs.

Application Deadlines for 2025–2026

Parents and guardians are urged to complete and finalise any pending applications for the current academic year before the system closes at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 26 March 2026. The Ministry stressed that no new applications for this academic year will be accepted after this deadline, highlighting the importance of meeting this cut-off to secure support entitlements for students.

Opening Date for 2026–2027 Applications

Looking ahead to the 2026–2027 academic year, the Ministry confirmed that the application portal will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, 12 April 2026, to receive new applications from parents of eligible students. This window aims to give families ample time to prepare documentation and submit requests ahead of the next school year.

Ensuring Continuous Educational Support

In its statement, the Ministry highlighted that announcing these dates well in advance reflects its dedication to supporting students with disabilities and ensuring the stability of their educational journey. Officials encouraged families to adhere to the deadlines and finalise their applications early to avoid delays in accessing educational services.

The educational voucher scheme is part of Qatar’s broader strategy to promote educational inclusivity and accessibility, reinforcing the nation’s efforts to provide tailored support services for all students, regardless of ability.

As the deadlines approach, parents and guardians are advised to visit the official Ministry platforms to complete their applications and ensure their children can benefit from the available support without interruption.
