Suspect Claims Self-Defense Over Alleged Death Plot

The bakery owner told police that the attack happened on his birthday. He said he overheard a conversation that the six workers, together with one of the co-owners who also served as the bakery’s master chef, were planning to kill him. He believed they wanted full control over the business.

Most of the workers were reportedly related to the co-owner. After a drinking session, when the lights were off and everyone had gone to sleep, the suspect said he grabbed a knife and attacked. He claimed the victims tried to fight back but were too drunk and unarmed.

Police Doubt His Story

Authorities are not fully convinced by the suspect’s version of events. Investigators are now exploring the possibility that he may have had help. The motive, along with other circumstances surrounding the killings, is still under close investigation.

This gruesome case has shaken the Antipolo community, and police say more updates will follow as the investigation continues.
